Missy Heart was born in Brussels, Belgium, and still lives in the beautiful land of beer and chocolate. At the age of 29, she knew very early on that writing would be part of her life. As a teenager, she wrote extensively on the internet, fueling her imagination through short stories and unfinished stories. But Missy keeps her feet on the ground and has gone to college to become a caregiver and work in a nursing home. She never gave up on her dream of finishing a novel and after finishing Your Power Over Me will continue on with more novels. This story was inspired by the beautiful landscapes of Sweden for its snowy scenery, but also for its wild nature.
Her dream is to explore the world and for the moment she is doing it through her novels choosing countries like Morocco, Sweden, Germany, and soon other countries like Scotland, America, Spain…
Mother of two little girls, even for the choice of their first name, she immersed herself in the films and series she loves. The first is called Diana and comes from the heroine Wonder Woman. For the second, it comes from the Teen Wolf series, her name is Lydia.
She shares her life with her partner of 6 years with whom she shares a taste for the imaginary. He pushes her to realize her dream of becoming an author and when their first child is born, she stopped working to be a full-time mother and does everything she could to get published.
When she’s not writing, Missy immerses herself in a book, whether on paper or digital, mostly romance, but she also reads fantasy. She also likes to knit, mainly for la Croix Rouge[1], but also for her family.
She has always felt close to nature or the ocean and very much wanted to write by the sea or in a beautiful forest. But with two little girls it’s not easy, so she is content with her garden with its palm trees, a little piece of paradise behind her house!
